Our Story
Flavia is originally from Brazil, where she graduated as a Physiotherapist. As a leader in lymphatic drainage in the UK, she’s extremely dedicated to her work, her clients and to spreading joy through her job. Her unique energy is truly one of a kind. She is fully registered with the HCPC-UK (114877)
As the leading lymphatic therapist in London, Flavia has over a decade’s experience in health and aesthetics. Her focus on academia has given her an increased understanding of the constantly evolving research and practices in this field and she continues to adapt her innovative techniques to reflect this and better serve her clients. She is passionate about life, the lymphatic system and maximising results during the recovery period following plastic surgery.
In fact, it was Flavia’s own experience with lymphatic drainage that was the catalyst for her pursuing this as a career. In the months following the birth of her child, she struggled with water retention, bloating and the build-up of excess hormones caused by pregnancy. She relied heavily on drainage techniques to help eliminate the water from her body, and from that moment on, she knew she had to share the feeling and results with everyone!
Her time working in a plastic surgery clinic in Brazil (a leading country in plastic surgery) where lymphatic drainage was mandatory, helped form the foundations of her practical experience.
After moving to the UK, she created the ‘Flavia Morellato Method’, which prides itself on being different to the conventional Vodder technique, commonly associated with lymphatic drainage. Using an adaptation of physiotherapeutic manoeuvres and strokes, Flavia began offering her unique method to Londoners and it didn’t take long for her reputation to spread! Not only does she have a regular stream of clients in London, but she’s built a name for herself with celebrities too, who travel from across the UK and beyond to secure an appointment with her.
Since then, the business has grown exponentially and Flavia has expanded her team to keep up with demand, always ensuring the highest standards and techniques are maintained.
